CHATSWORTH ROAD-BIZE SIZE

Chatsworth Rd Market in Lower Clapton, Hackney is an easy and serene affair perfect for those that like to ease gently into Sunday morning. Chatsworth Road is Broadway Market, for the over 30's. Plenty of coffee and wholesome food cafes, but without the pubs and intensity. The bonus is that Chatsworth doesn't seem to be victim to Broadway prices.

There are many places to take breakfast or brunch. With all the yummy food stalls you can either east out or buy and run back home! Creperie du Monde is a great place to meet friends and indulge. Choose from yummy sweet and savoury crepes, waffles and omlettes. On the menu is the "French Favourite" crepe with nutella with banana.

Also popular is the bakery stall on Chatsworth Road Market. Local queue for freshly bakes breads, pastries, flans and cakes. We can vouch for the Danish Pastry and the French Flan is excellent!

Another take home bake can be bought at Bamber Brothers, tasty scrumptious cheese cake.  White Choc Oreo might be your thing?

If you appreciate a good jam, London Borough of jams are serving up their much loved preserves. Raspberry and lavender is sweet and fragrant.

Isle of Olives also have a delicious honey collection. Deeney's Scottish Flavour served us an awesome bacon, cheese and haggis sandwich with mustard and onion relish.

Long live vintage at Thea's Vintage Store, really love this shop. It's a little gem! Kids are welcome at Chatsworth Rd Market and it has a great family atmosphere. Born Again Kids Wear  and Nixie will keep the little ones looking good.

Pop-up art, music and community space, locally known as The Dentist, 33 Chatsworth Road, is an interesting shopfront for Chatsworth's creative community. The space has just been home to an avid Chatsworth promoter, is Norweign photographer Jørn Tomter who has been exhibiting his

photography.

33 Chatsworth Road is an influential space creative showcase. With more live music in the horizon I'm sure the cool-kids will follow! More art can be found at Chatsworth Palace Arts Centre is another important creative space, where you can find the Mini-Yeah-Yeah-Yeah Market.

There  plenty of characters to be found at Chatsworth Road Market, like Ash Green Organics. Charming man selling his fresh produce to the locals. It's certainly refreshing not to see at Sainsbury's local or Tesco Metro here. It does seem to keep local people in touch with local produce.

  1. Let's not forget also the fabulous 'Born Again Kidswear' , one of the few, if not the only place to buy vintage childrens clothing. We've had some real gems from there. A definite must for the stylish nipper.
