I have fond memories of Greenwich, so when I returned last weekend I was delighted to find the same Greenwich that I know and love. As a child my parents used to take me there as they used to stall at the Greenwich Antiques Market at the Town Hall (shame, it doesn't appear to be running anymore). This time I entered via East London and we had a great time walking through the tunnel from the Isle of Dogs, I’d recommend it, it's a very handy connection!
As soon as you come out of the tunnel your greeted by the great Cutty Shark and it immediately feels like you've arrived at royal grounds.
In my first steps I was quickly drawn to two of my favourite Greenwich Vintage Shops,
TheBeehive and
The Emporium.
Here you’ll find some simply divine vintage. The Emporium has lots to look at and the whole décor of the shop feels like you’ve walked back
in time. The Beehive and it’s adjoining record store, is cool and quirky.
We love their selection of retro telephones!
Next stop, Greenwich under cover market. I love this market which has rows of quaint boutiques, shops and cafes, nestled around it. It reminds me of York. Check out the
Beadoir and
Reddoor Café.
Greenwich does such a grand job of celebrating London and the market definitely supports that. I was so impressed by the traders at Greenwich. Stalls are tightly squeezed in and there’s a very focussed atmosphere. There’s so much I loved but here’s who made it to the what’s hot list!
I was fascinated watching airbrush artist Kader hard at work at the
Art2Wear stall. They produce hand painted and individually designed hoodies and t-shirts, the designed are completely awesome. My favourite is the Joker.
For jewellery I loved
Richard Chown Jewellery, he designs all of his pieces and has some great designs. There’s lots for men here too! It’s often pretty hard to find men’s jewellery so it was a great find.
When talking art, Greenwich Market has lots to offer and it even has it’s very own little art quarter. My boyfriend was instantly drawn to
Charles ABorrell’s work which is fantastic.

Arty Globe is so much fun and great for kids. They have a shop within the market and you’ll find some great London comic style art works.
For more affordable art works
Quirk London definitely brings something new to the table. They produce letter photography art, taken from the streets of London. I totally love this idea, and definitely intend on purchasing!
The random weird and wonderful prize has to go to
Mutleys Kitchen. A stall that is dedicated to producing healthy snacks for the hound in your life.
So what about after eats and market wind-down? Having cycled 10 miles from Hoxton we demolished with joy a roast beef dinner with lashings on melted cheese at the
Red Cow Carvery. Sound gross? No, you have to try it, being the queen of condiments I was also delighted to sample their homemade sauces and mustards. 100% yummy, yummy. Get in involved!
No trip to Greenwich is complete for me without making a visit to the
Goddard’s, who are quite simply the best British Pie makers ever. I adore their pies and they’re as cheap as chips. Pie lovers will be pleased to hear that they will soon be re-opening their Greenwich restaurant very soon.
So should you visit Greenwich? I don't think i need to answer that! There's so much more than what's been mentioned here, you have to get stuck in. If you do visit, don't forget about the wonderful
Clock Tower Market, unfortuntely i didn't have time to visit.What a great excuse to go again very soon!

There are many places to take breakfast or brunch. With all the yummy food stalls you can either east out or buy and run back home! Creperie du Monde is a great place to meet friends and indulge. Choose from yummy sweet and savoury crepes, waffles and omlettes. On the menu is the "French Favourite" crepe with nutella with banana. 
Also popular is the bakery stall on Chatsworth Road Market. Local queue for freshly bakes breads, pastries, flans and cakes. We can vouch for the Danish Pastry and the French Flan is excellent!
Pop-up art, music and community space, locally known as The Dentist, 33 Chatsworth Road, is an interesting shopfront for Chatsworth's creative community. The space has just been home to an avid Chatsworth promoter, is Norweign photographer Jørn Tomter who has been exhibiting his 
photography.
There plenty of characters to be found at Chatsworth Road Market, like Ash Green Organics. Charming man selling his fresh produce to the locals. It's certainly refreshing not to see at Sainsbury's local or Tesco Metro here. It does seem to keep local people in touch with local produce.
